I don't mean to nitpick, but his swing is pretty terrible in the opening seconds. You have to keep the coil level at the end of your swings!

Common Detecting Mistakes by Regton Metal Detectors
Great video showcasing some common metal detecting mistakes and offering tips for how to prevent those mistakes and ultimately metal detect better! The best part is many are not 100% obvious, making this a rewarding watch even for the most experienced metal detector hobbyists!
